Training for IMI’s Physician-scientists: Driving Innovation through Clinical Research and AI Technology

The recent training activity for physician-scientists team of Indonesian Molecule Institute (IMI) in Malang has marked a historic milestone in clinical research within Indonesia. Focusing on the research of hydrogen nanobubble for improving quality of life, this activity not only signified a new clinical achievement but also fostered strong bonds among medical professionals.

Organized by IMI with the support of the Reverse Aging and Homeostasis Club (RAHO), the objective of this activity was to provide training for physician-scientists for conducting innovative clinical research. RAHO Club is committed for backing the first clinical research in Indonesia that utilizes AI technology in data management, marking a significant step in evidence-based nanomedicine studies in Indonesia.

The event took place at UB Guest House, Malang, over two days on October 26-27, 2023. The strategic choice of location added value to the event, creating an environment conducive to idea exchange and collaboration.

Participants benefitted from various presentations by leading experts, including Prof. Sutiman Bambang Sumitro, SU., D.Sc. and Dr.Eng. Novanto Yudistira, S.Kom., M.Sc, who presented on evidence-based studies, and Prof. Akhmad Sabarudin, S.Si., M.Sc., Dr.Sc. who discussed nanomedicine. A practical field session led by IMI's head physician-scientists, dr. Subagjo, Sp.B, Sp.BTKV, Subsp.VE (K), FIATCVS, added a practical dimension to this training.

One captivating aspect of this activity was the impact on the unity of physician-scientists. With the enthusiastic atmosphere, medical professionals not only enhanced their knowledge but also strengthened connections and collaboration among team members.

The event commenced with warm addresses from Prof. Akhmad Sabarudin, S.Si., M.Sc., Dr.Sc., IMI's director, and Mr. Kan Eddy, head of RAHO Club. This created an inspiring atmosphere and motivated participants to fully engage in the training.
