IMI and RAHO Club Introduce Hydrogen Nano Bubbles and Gasotransmitter to FK-KMK UGM: A Step Toward Health Revolution

Yogyakarta, December 4, 2024 – Indonesian Molecule Institute (IMI) and RAHO (Reverse Aging and Homeostasis) Club made a special visit to the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FK-KMK UGM) to introduce the latest technology in the world of health. This meeting focused on the innovation of intravenous injection using hydrogen and gasotransmitters nanobubbles, a sophisticated technology that is believed to provide extraordinary benefits for human health, especially in improving the quality of life and treating degenerative diseases.

The event was attended by Prof. Sutiman Bambang Sumitro, SU., D.Sc as an advisor to IMI, Mr. Kan Eddy as the General Chairperson of the RAHO Club, and dr. Aditya Tri Hernowo, Ph.D as the Head of the Research and Development Division of the IMI-RAHO Club. Meanwhile, this event was also attended by experts from FK-KMK UGM such as Dr. dr. Bondan Agus Suryanto, SE., MA., DLP., AAK, Prof. dr. Sofia Mubarika Haryana, M.Med.Sc, Ph.D, Dr. dr. Ratna Dewi Puspita, M.Sc, Dr. dr. Lina Choridah, Sp.Rad.(K), dr. Dyah Wulan Anggrahini, Ph.D, Sp.JP(K), and dr. Muhamad Taufik Ismail, Sp.JP(K), as well as other academics, who supported the discussion regarding the potential implementation of this nanotechnology in the field of modern health.

Hydrogen and Gasotransmitters Nanobubbles: Breakthroughs in the World of Health

In the presentation, IMI introduced hydrogen nanobubble technology, which has extraordinary potential in improving body health. Prof. Sutiman Bambang Sumitro explained that these nanobubbles are able to penetrate body cells effectively, help improve metabolic function, and prevent cell damage due to free radicals.

Moreover, gasotransmitters are also one of the main focuses in this discussion. Although known as a dangerous gas, in small amounts gasotransmitters act as important signal molecules in various physiological processes in the body. "This is a unique concept. Gasotransmitters that are dangerous to the body in high concentrations, actually become important signals if used in the right doses," said dr. Aditya Tri Hernowo.

Benefits of Nanobubbles for Degenerative Diseases

Hydrogen and gasotransmitters nanobubble technology opens up great opportunities in the medical world, especially to help improve the quality of life of patients with degenerative diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and other metabolic disorders. This technology works by reducing oxidative stress and repairing cell damage, thereby helping to slow aging and support the body's homeostasis process.

The General Chairperson of the RAHO Club, Mr. Kan Eddy, added that the application of this technology has become one of the club's main missions in an effort to support research and the application of innovation in the health sector. "We hope that this technology can soon be used more widely and help improve the health of the Indonesian people," he said.

Collaboration Towards a Better Health Future

This visit is expected to be an important step in expanding research and implementation of nanotechnology in the health world. FK-KMK UGM, as one of the leading institutions in the field of medicine, gives positive appreciation to the introduction of this technology as an innovative effort that has the potential to provide solutions to various health problems in Indonesia. With this activity, it is hoped that more parties will be interested in researching, developing, and implementing nanotechnology in the medical world. This technology is not only an innovation, but also a new hope for society to live healthier and better lives amidst the increasing challenges of degenerative diseases.
