You must have seen or used motorized vehicles before. There are various types of motorized vehicles, such as cars, motorcycles, trucks, and buses. Motorized vehicles are commonly used for daily purposes, both for short and long distances. However, are you aware that motorized vehicles consist of various components? Motorized vehicles have various components that work together to ensure that the motorized vehicle's performance remains optimal. If one component is damaged or not functioning, the motorized vehicle will not be able to operate properly, which can hinder our activities.

Similar to motorized vehicles, the human body also consists of various components, where all components of the human body are essentially very important. In the circulatory system, for example, it is not only the heart that plays an important role, but also the blood vessels down to the smallest level. The circulatory system is closely related to other systems, such as the urinary system, reproductive system, digestive system, nervous system, and so on. Therefore, not only the heart plays an important role in the body, but also other components such as the kidneys, stomach, brain, and others.

Just like a motorized vehicle engine that needs to be continuously heated to function optimally, the body also needs to be continuously maintained to stay healthy and balanced. The body is an entity that must be actively undergoing various changes, but these changes must not exceed the capabilities of each body component. This condition is known as 'steady state' or homeostasis. Homeostasis shows the systemic cooperation of various organs in the body so that it is able to keep the body in a dynamic balance. If the organs of the body have cooperated dynamically, harmoniously, and harmoniously, then healthy living will be achieved.

The body's components must keep on working and helping each other. If one component does not work well, then our entire body will suffer. Imbalance (disharmony) of the body's systems will cause the body to be susceptible to any 'terrors', both from outside the body (germs) and from inside the (stress). When one component cannot work properly, the body will try to achieve balance. In the short term, if the balance (harmony) of the body can be restored, then the body will become healthy. However, if in the long run the imbalance of the body's systems cannot be immediately resolved, tissue damage will occur resulting in degenerative diseases. Degenerative diseases are problems related to the coordination of information and induction between body components. Some examples of degenerative diseases include: hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, cancer, Parkinson's, osteoporosis, and others.

Gasotransmitters can be used to treat various degenerative diseases. The administration of gasotransmitters is a proper action and can minimize the risk that may occur. Some examples of gasotransmitters include: NO, CO, and H2S.
